In the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak, an emphasis on cleanliness in both households and businesses has become the priority. Coronavirus is the newest addition to a seemingly ever-growing list of potentially deadly viruses that can be transmitted both from surfaces and daily contact with others. Coronavirus primarily attacks the respiratory systems of those who contract the virus. It can cause heaviness in the chest, shortness of breath, and a variety of other symptoms that put our “at-risk” populations in serious danger. Although many of us who contract the virus will recover, it is our social obligation to protect those around us who are not as fortunate. Hospitals are unable to sustain and support an influx of seriously medically needy individuals all at once. The transmission of this virus must be stopped or at very least slowed to allow hospitals the ability to treat all patients.
What can you do?
Per the CDC, it is now recommended to “Clean and disinfects your property to remove germs: practice routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces (for example tables, doorknobs, light switches, handles, desks, toilets, faucets, sinks & cell phones)”. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water and avoid social contact whenever possible.
How can we help you?
Our Crime Scene Intervention (CSI) Team members are firefighters who have a true understanding of the need and procedures for proper cleanup of biohazardous materials. Such as Blood and Body fluids. We have been cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, from MRSA, CDiff, H1N1, Corona Virus following OSHA regulations and standards for well over a decade. We offer expert protection from a variety of biohazards, including airborne biohazards, making sure your family, employees, and the general population is as protected as possible.
Tools of the Trade
Along with top cleaners and OSHA-standard protective gear, CSI uses an electrostatic sprayer to ensure every surface is covered every time we clean. Electrostatic spraying works by using a specialized machine to spray our cleaning solution onto a given area. The solution exits the machine and is given a negative charge. This charge attracts the cleaning particles to surfaces electrostatically, providing an even, full coat of disinfectant every time we clean. High Powered UV Light is then passed over the entire area to sure all surfaces are disinfected and sterilized; this is surgical grade sterilization.
CSI is second to none in performance and professionalism. We are fast, discreet, and understanding of the multiple situations we are called in to support each and every day. Whether fighting Coronavirus or a slew of other biohazardous scenes, CSI is a local team that fully understands the complexity of the services we provide. From biohazard cleanup to crime scene or suicide cleanup, you can count on us.
